• Provides reinforcement and stiffening in rubber hoses, V-belts, gaskets and molded goods
• Improves green strength for unvulcanized sheeting materials at relatively low levels of incorporation
• Absorbs free moisture during vulcanization
• Reduces shrinkage during cooling after vulcanization.
